The Rudolf Hildebrand School is a secondary school (Gymnasium) in Markleeberg, directly south of Leipzig, 8 km from the city centre, situated directly on Lake Cospundener See. It is equipped with modern facilities, a canteen with kitchen, sports facilities and green school grounds. Functional facilities meet nature, with a vacation feel and a big city experience.

Arrival
Markkleeberg borders on the south edge of Leipzig and is located directly on the Cospudener See, a wonderful lake. Centrally located in Europe, it can be easily reached by all means of transportation:
- By car
Leipzig is located directly on the A9 (north-south connection) and the A38 (east-west connection)
Please be aware of: Unfortunately there is no on-site parking. Parking spaces in the area around the venue will be limited in number during summer. For that reason, we encourage you to make use of public transport if possible.
But you can find one free parking area 1,7 km northwest fom the venue: Parking Cospudener See; Ziegeleiweg, 04416 Leipzig. It will be a 20 Minutes walk along the landscape park. - By train
Leipzig is connected to the German high-speed train line. Public buses and trains run from the main train station to the venue in less than 30 Minutes. - By long-distance bus
Leipzig’s main train station can be reached from many European capitals by bus. From there, it takes about 30 minutes by public transport to reach the venue. - By plane
Leipzig/Halle Airport is located 10 kilometers outside the city. It takes less than 1 hour to get to the venue by public transport (city trains S5 and S5x Markkleeberg stop; have a walk or take the bus lines 65 or 106). - By bike
Rental bikes are available everywhere in Leipzig. The 8.5 kilometers from the city center to the venue lead through the Auwald (floodplain forest) or on the bike path along the road, a journey of about 30 minutes. - By public transportation
It only takes 14 minutes from Leipzig main train station to get to the Markkleeberg stop with the S3, S4, S5, S5x and S6 city trains.
From there you can walk (<20 minutes) or take the bus 65 (direction Markranstädt to Markkleeberg, Mehringstr.) or bus 106 (direction Großstädteln to Gautzscher Platz). The bus lines 65 and 106 stop about 500m away from the venue.
For travelling from Leipzig to the venue we recommend purchasing a weekly ticket from the Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe for 2 zones (Leipzig Transport Service) - Do you plan to go on train trips around the country during the congress?
