You can visit the European Go Congress (EGC) in Markkleeberg/Leipzig on all days for free. But on Sunday 30th July there will be a special open day with tutorials for beginners and interested people. You can play some games with other new Go-players or with Go-veterans.
In addition, there will be the finals of the European Championship. You can watch the deciding game for the strongest Go-player in Europe live in the big auditorium, commented and analyzed. Or you watch all the other players in their last two rounds of the weekend tournament.
In the evening will be the prize giving for the European championship and the first week of the whole event. During the time you can get snacks from the mobile kitchen hut and there will be a coffee bike around. And before your brain melts, take a swim in the Cossi.
